Martin J. Blaser, MD
is the Frederick H. King Professor of Internal Medicine, Chairman, Department of Medicine, and Professor of Microbiology at New York University School of Medicine, New York, NY. He is an established researcher in microbiology and infectious diseases with a wide interest and an impressive productivity. In 1998 Martin Blaser established the Foundation for Bacteria.  This virtual museum was developed with financial support from this Foundation. The commencement of the museum fulfills a dream that he has had for many years.
